Composite shake roofing installation

Sean came out the same day and inspected our leaking roof. He gave us a thorough written estimate hours later. With his warranty, it was an easy decision to hire his company. A few days later we had a new roof and we're very pleased. He did our detached garage 2 years ago and we absolutely called him first to do the house. He might be a little more expensive, but the extended warranty and peace of mind is worth it.

When he came to my home to give me a quote to replace my fascia board, gutters and soffit, my front gutter was flopping in the wind, barely holding on. I was really glad to find Precious Roofing.They did a lot of work for me! I needed urgent removal of old caulking and placement of new caulking around all the windows of my house. It's really hard to find someone to do this and to do it well. Most companies won't touch it or just want to slap new caulk on top of the old, which can fail. When the weather was right, a team of three came out on a Saturday and spent 8 hours removing and reinstalling all the caulking around my windows with thick, durable QuadMax caulk. I was very grateful. They also installed vinyl soffit, ventilated soffit where needed, and covered the fascia boards in painted white aluminum. There was damaged vinyl siding on the back that needed replacing. Tuck point repairs were done on exterior and interior brick, and vinyl exterior dentil molding installed. Old silicone was removed from brick where a sunroom was. Last but not least, the concrete cap of the chimney needed replacing, and in the process, the installation errors of the original builders were fixed. Precious Roofing did a great job all around and I would highly recommended them to my neighbors and colleagues.

After being in our wood siding home for 10+ years we had already painted it once and were due again. But this time would be different, our old wood siding was in rough shape, suffering from rot and woodpecker damage, we would need to replace whole sections of siding. Instead of replacing it with wood again, we decided to do a whole tear off and replacement. We put out feelers for quotes, and Precious Roofing came back quickly and competitively. They answered any questions I had, and even took some suggestions to improve the life of the siding (they were trying to save me more money). After a number of communications and a lot of time looking at siding samples we were under contract. Work began on the exact day we had scheduled, and boy was the first stage of the work done quickly. Precious Roofing completely removed our old wood siding, upgraded our moisture barrier to the Zip System within 2 days. The much more delicate work of aluminum trim, gutters, and Board and Batten siding took another 2 solid weeks of work. Their expertise didn't stop there. They also expertly replaced a section of our flat roof, ensuring our home is fully protected. To top it all off, they installed new gutters and gutter guards, a much-needed improvement that will save us a lot of maintenance in the long run. They were incredibly thorough, even informing us of and replacing extra rot they discovered during the process, all as part of the job. Their communication was excellent from the initial bidding all the way through completion. We were also impressed with how seamlessly they coordinated with our outside window installer. They were even amenable to me working at the same time as them to make some much needed electrical upgrades to my outdoor outlets. After the work was done, I had a hard time finding any nails or other fasteners in the yard, driveway, or walkways. The yard was as spotless as I could have hoped considering the level of work involved with this job. Sean was great, he came out the day after the storm did a quick check over everything gave a very fair quote and got the work done quickly. He found a few additional things he recommended while working, was not pushy. He’s not an insurance chaser they are just good honest roofers.

Recommend them 100% - so responsive and do great work. I keep getting compliments!

Precious Roofing did an excellent job installing gutters with covers, downspouts and putting in a French drain in the yard. They cleaned up with not a scrap in sight. Very impressed with the French drain they installed under a stone rock walkway.
